Booking an appointment and paying a deposit with Bianca Ribar Makeup indicates your intent to attend the scheduled appointment and confirms that you are entering into a binding agreement with Bianca Ribar Makeup. The payment of a $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your total balance due on the day of your service.

Please note that all deposits and payments made to Bianca Ribar Makeup are non-refundable and non-transferable to another service, date, or time under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, accidental bookings, event cancellations, illness, travel disruptions, double bookings, changes of mind, work commitments, or similar situations.

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel an appointment. Late cancellations or clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late will be charged 50% of the service fee. The charge will be processed using the card details provided at the time of booking.

By paying your deposit, you authorize Bianca Ribar Makeup to process this payment and charge applicable fees if you cancel, are late, fail to attend, or arrive more than 15 minutes late.

Please ensure you fully understand and respect these policies. Any abuse or inappropriate behavior toward these terms will not be tolerated. By booking, you confirm your agreement to these terms.

Changes in Pricing
Bianca Ribar Makeup reserves the right to adjust pricing for services at any time. Any changes in fees or service offerings will be communicated to clients in advance, and any bookings made prior to the change will be honored at the current agreed-upon price. However, if services are booked after a price change, the new fees will apply.

 

BOOKING POLICY

Appointments

We recommend to be ready 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you are running late, please contact Bianca Ribar Makeup as soon as possible. Failure to notify us may result in the loss of your appointment.

 

Deposits
Paying a deposit confirms your commitment to your scheduled appointment with Bianca Ribar Makeup. The deposit will be applied toward your total balance due on the day of your appointment, provided you commit to your appointment as scheduled. If you do not commit to your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited and cannot be transferred or applied to future appointments.

 

Cancellations
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations. If you cancel late, fail to commit, or are more than 15 minutes late, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee, and the deposit will be forfeited. Repeated violations of this policy may result in being prohibited from booking future appointments.

 

Refunds and Credit Notes
Refunds are not available for client-initiated cancellations. If Bianca Ribar Makeup is unable to fulfill the appointment due to an unavoidable event, a credit note may be offered at the discretion of Bianca Ribar Makeup. Cancellations due to event changes, illness, travel issues, double bookings, changes of mind, or work commitments do not qualify for refunds or credit notes.

Full refunds will only be issued if Bianca Ribar Makeup cancels the appointment.

 

Methods of Payment
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and EFTPOS chip cards. Personal cheques are not accepted, and we do not offer cashback for credit card transactions.

 

Privacy
Bianca Ribar Makeup is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties, and all client information remains confidential.

Artist Availability Appointment Timeliness

Bianca Ribar Makeup works with a team of professionals, and while we do our best to accommodate specific artist requests, booking Bianca Ribar does not guarantee that she will be the artist fulfilling your appointment unless specifically requested. If Bianca Ribar is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, she will contact you to discuss alternatives.

Appointment Timeliness

We strive to stay on time for all appointments and typically arrive 10 minutes early to set up. In the event of a delay, Bianca Ribar will reach out to inform you.

 

Trial Appointments
Each trial appointment includes one look only. If you wish to trial additional looks (hair and/or makeup), an extra fee will apply. Please discuss this with Bianca Ribar Makeup before booking your trial to ensure sufficient time is allocated.

  • Hair/Makeup Trials are scheduled for 1 hour per service.

  • If a trial exceeds the allocated time, a $50 charge per half hour will apply.

All wedding bookings require a trial. If you are unable to arrange a trial, please discuss this directly with Bianca Ribar.

 

Payment Responsibility
For group bookings, the individual making the reservation is responsible for full payment if others in the group do not pay their share. Full payment for group bookings is due 14 days prior to the event unless other arrangements are made.

 

Additional Fees

  • Deposit: A $50 deposit is required to confirm all appointments. Without a deposit, your booking will not be secured.

  • Travel Fees: A travel fee of $30 will apply for locations beyond a 25km radius from Bianca Ribar Makeup's location.

  • Early Call-Out Fees: Bookings starting before 8am incur an early morning fee of $100 per artist.

  • Parking Fees: Any required parking fees will be charged to the client accordingly.

  • Holiday Fees: A $100 surcharge applies for bookings on the following days: Australia Day, Anzac Day, Easter (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), Labour Day Long Weekend, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

 

Cancellations and Losses
In the event that a client cancels or fails to attend the booked service, Bianca Ribar Makeup will suffer losses that are difficult to quantify. Therefore, the $50 deposit will be forfeited as liquidated damages, not a penalty.

 

Hygiene and Safety
To ensure the health and safety of our clients, Bianca Ribar Makeup follows stringent hygiene and safety procedures, including:

  • Use of disposable makeup/hair capes.

  • Bianca Ribar Makeup and team members wear face masks during services.

  • Hands are washed or sanitized before every appointment.

  • All surfaces and tools are sanitized with 70% alcohol, ensuring effective germ-killing.

  • Brushes are either used exclusively for one client or sanitized with 70% alcohol before re-use.

  • Disposable applicators (e.g., mascara wands, lip wands) are used once and discarded.

  • Time is allocated between clients to ensure the area is fully sanitized.
